Every journey is always born from a dream
NORTH AMERICA
A true triumph of nature discovering the fabulous scenery in the most fascinating and spectacular areas of Alaska, a remote and wild land, magnificently unspoiled among mountains and glaciers, forests and rushing rivers, in the places that were the stage of the legendary "gold rush." Of particular interest: Denali National Park, rich in wildlife, and the ancient mining town of Fairbanks.

An idea made of Indians in canoes along immense rivers, trappers with raccoon hats, Redcoats strictly on horseback, beavers at work and salmon swimming upstream. A trip to Canada does not erase this wild and adventurous world, but expands it by offering us sprawling and vibrant cities, art, history, entertainment, and above all a quality of life we can learn from, and in the national parks beavers, skunks or porcupines wander among the tents or visitor centers, large moose with their immense antlers cross the roads, and bears are numerous. There are also wolves and coyotes, lynxes and cougars. But if you feel like a Davy Crockett, this is definitely the place for you.

Before being real, America is a place of the spirit. It lives sedimented within us through books, films, TV series, news, texts and images, myths and songs, characters and stories, comics and studies. All too well-known to be a surprise even on a first trip, we already know it because we have its image inside us, often the stereotype. But that's why we need to travel: to seek confirmation and to discover unexpected destinations, they are the fathers of nature conservation. Important slices of the territory are preserved, but also open to human enjoyment, for their beauty, for the richness of animal and plant species, for the historical and cultural importance they possess. Splendid patches of nature that escape civilization and give us the thrill of a wild world in balance with itself and with us.

There are countries that imprint themselves in your mind with a single vivid, coherent image. Mexico is not one of them. By nature, it escapes any definition, and not only because it is six times the size of Italy and includes deserts and forests, volcanoes and coral reefs. Nor because it is a federation of 31 states, each with its own identity. It is impossible not to get lost along its roads, just as in the twists and turns of its history made up of extraordinary lost empires, mysterious stone civilizations, revolutions and battles, heroes and saints. Its dazzling colors, its poignant music, the people who are never as you expect, surprise us every time. This is not a journey. It is a kaleidoscope of journeys.

The northern part of this arid yet fascinating peninsula begins at Tijuana, a chaotic border city and gateway for those arriving from the USA, and ends at Guerrero Negro, the town that marks the border of Baja Norte. The main road runs the length of the peninsula from north to south, a land that is arid and desert-like with very harsh nature, territory of the "Saguaro cactus." The southern part begins at Guerrero Negro and ends at Los Cabos. It is right here that the Sea of Cortez meets the cold waters of the Pacific Ocean, creating one of the most fish-rich areas in the world; here the desert ends and the blue color of the sea contrasts with the white of the wide and solitary beaches.

The Hawaiian archipelago is located in the Pacific Ocean and is among the most isolated landmasses in the world: in fact, it is almost 4,000 km from both the American coast and Tahiti. These are magical islands, with a variety of wildlife and wild vegetation immersed in the deep blue of the Pacific Ocean. Recommended for those seeking a varied vacation, with the possibility of experiencing nature, culture, the sea, and spectacular sunsets, they also offer an exceptional variety and uniqueness of flora and fauna, mainly because 21 of the 22 climate zones existing in the world are present in the archipelago, which still hosts many endangered animal species, including monk seals.
